Our history
Both our 7U and 8U were Southwest Showcase Champions in 2021, Battle Champions in 2021, Turkey Bowl Champions in 2021, and AAU National Champions in the Spring 2022. Both teams were additionally the AYF Desert Mountain Region D1 representatives for the AYF National Championships in 2020 and 2021. Our 7U team finished in 2nd place in 2020.
Now in 2022 these teams have moved to 8U and 9U respectively and are again the 2022 AYF Desert Mountain Region D1 representatives for the 2022 AYF National Championships.
In 2023 our 9U, 10U and 11U teams started the year winning the D1 Las Vegas Tournament. Our 11U team went undefeated in NYS League Games, and won D2 State Championship to represent NYS Nevada 11U at AYF Regionals in Arizona. Our 10U team additionally won D2 State Championship and represented NYS Nevada 10U at AYF Regionals in Arizona. Our 9U team after battling back from 0-3 record to start the season, rose to the occasion and won 4 straight games to play in the D2 State Championship, while they did not win they showed heart and grit as a team to make it to the Championship Game. All while being a brand new group of players playing together for the first time.
The Apex Blackwolves are a nationally recognized football camp, with numerous championship rings from 2020-2023. Our 7U team was the Nevada State Champions in 2020 and 2021. Our 8U team was the Nevada State Champions in 2021. In 2022, our 8U, 9U and 10U are Nevada State Champions as part of the NYS Nevada Tackle League. In 2023, our 10u and 11u are Nevada State Champions as part of the NYS Nevada Tackle League.
